Much of the water we use comes from rivers. In addition, much of the pollution we generate ends up in our rivers. There are many things you can do at home, outside, and on the river to conserve water use and to reduce pollution-thereby protecting our rivers for people, fish and wildlife.

Public participation is a critical component in river conservation and clean water advocacy. Prairie Rivers Network would like to add your voice to our own and others like you who value rivers and clean water.

By participating and supporting organizations like Prairie Rivers Network, you are engaging in public debate to express your own values and priorities about clean water, rivers, wildlife, and the protection of these resources for future generations.
