Dear Friend,
Do you like being outdoors? Protecting your hometown environment? Making a
difference in a few hours or less? This week is your last chance to schedule
a river cleanup as part of National <http://www.nationalrivercleanup.org>
River Cleanup Week (June 2-10, 2007), or participate in a registered
<http://www.nationalrivercleanup.org/sites/index.php> cleanup near you!
Plans for this year's National River Cleanup Week are in full swing, with
over 380 cleanups scheduled to take place. Register your cleanup online by
the deadline -- April 15 -- to receive all the trash bags you'll need. Learn
all you need to know about organizing a river cleanup by visiting our Site
Leader Center <http://www.nationalrivercleanup.org/center/index.php> .
If you have already planned a river cleanup, you should definitely register
your event on our website. You'll get some free publicity for your cleanup
and access to a wide audience of volunteers. As an added bonus, your
volunteers become eligible to enter various contests to win prizes, such as
free kayaks and canoes.
To register or learn more, visit: www.NationalRiverCleanup.org.
Remember, when we all pitch in, America's rivers win!
