
We need your help in responding to the Trump Administration’s accelerating attacks on federal climate action. They have now put forward a disastrous plan that claims climate change, and the pollution that causes it, pose no threat to public health or the environment. Once again, we need your help in creating an outpouring of public opposition through the public comment process!
Last week, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) proposed repealing the “2009 Endangerment Finding”, the scientific and legal foundation for regulating planet-warming greenhouse gas emissions. Under this plan, fossil fuel companies will be able to pollute at will, leaving us with more frequent extreme weather, higher risks of wildfires, more disease-carrying insects, and less access to safe drinking water.

The USEPA will host a virtual public hearing on August 19 and 20, with an additional session on August 21 if needed. You can attend these hearings to listen or you can testify. To get details about joining the public hearing, email EPA-MobileSource-Hearings@epa.gov. To testify you must email by August 12th!
