1. Stacy James, Water Resources Scientist, discuses pigs and pollution
Prairie Rivers Network staff member Stacy James appeared on WTVP’s At Issue to discuss pigs and pollution.
This was a great opportunity for Prairie Rivers Network to share some of our concerns about the state’s livestock regulations and the poor management on some factory farms. Also on the program was Chad Leman, a hog producer from Illinois who seems to have a well-run operation.
