Our network is vital to everything we do to protect water, heal land, and inspire change. First and foremost, we hope that our network–our members, supporters, partners, and friends–stay safe as we all navigate the emerging public health crisis posed by the global COVID-19 pandemic. While there are many uncertainties ahead, there is one thing we at Prairie Rivers Network are certain of–that our work to protect the health of our environment and our communities has never been more important. So, the work continues.
We want to ensure that our network stays informed about how we’re operating amidst this ongoing crisis, so we plan to update this page regularly. We also encourage folks to sign up for our email list, visit our blog, and follow our social media accounts to get up-to-date information about our work.
- As of 3/13/20, our office is officially closed and all Prairie Rivers staff are working remotely, until further notice.
- All in-person PRN meetings and events have been canceled, postponed, or moved online through April. Meetings and events beyond April will be assessed for cancelation or postponement on an ongoing basis.
- We will continue to explore online alternatives to popular PRN activities and events–stay tuned and stay engaged!
- Please continue to follow CDC and WHO for up-to-date information and recommendations on how to keep yourselves and your communities safe.
