On Tuesday and Wednesday, Illinois legislators will be back in Springfield to vote on a historic clean energy bill! Join us in taking action over the next five+ days to ensure they pass a bold, equity-centered climate bill that puts Illinois on a path to a 100% clean energy future!
We’re fighting for the most comprehensive and equitable climate and energy bill in the nation! A bill that tackles climate change and also provides a just transition for fossil fuel workers and communities, enacts some of the toughest utility accountability measures in the country, and creates jobs and wealth in Illinois’ communities of color.
Day 1, Friday
Email your legislators and ask them to support an equitable climate and energy bill like the Clean Energy Jobs Act. Take action here!

Day 4, Tuesday
Rally for Fossil Free Future at the State Capitol. On Tuesday, Illinois Senators will be back in Springfield to vote on a historic clean energy bill, and we’ll be there too! Join us at the Lincoln Statue outside of the Capitol on Tuesday June 15th at 11:30am to rally for passing bold, equity-centered legislation that puts Illinois on a path to a 100% clean energy future! Call your state representative! If the Senate passes a climate and energy bill on Tuesday, we’ll still need the bill to make it through the House on Wednesday. Call your state representative and ask them to pass an equitable energy bill that decarbonizes the utility sector, promotes equity, and holds utilities accountable.
