Description of Event:
To meet our state’s climate goals, we must cut emissions from our buildings, which are responsible for a significant portion of Illinois’s greenhouse gas emissions. The Clean and Healthy Buildings Act set aspirational goals to reduce hazardous emissions in our homes and business by requiring gas utilities to achieve zero emissions by 2050, updating energy efficiency standards, and modernizing gas system investments. These changes aim to improve public health, lower energy costs, and support low income communities.
Be part of the change. Help us create a healthier and more sustainable environment for all Illinoisans. This event is not just about learning; it’s about sharing. We want your feedback and thoughts on the Clean and Reliable Grid Act. Together, we can build a cleaner and more resilient future for Illinois!
