Prairie Rivers Network and the Environmental Studies Program at Southern Illinois University Carbondale are excited to bring one of the largest environmental film festivals to southern Illinois. The Wild & Scenic Film Festival is a collection of films from the annual festival held in Nevada City, CA, now in its 15th year! The festival focuses on films which speak to the environmental concerns and celebrations of our planet, and it gives PRN an opportunity to inspire the public to affect environmental change here in Illinois. The festival offers ways for the public, supporters, and friends to get energized and empowered to work to protect clean water, wildlife habitat, and our rich natural landscapes.
